RE: NHL (Power Play) Rule Change for 2008/2009...

The main part of this rule, meaning whether or not it will come into play will depend primarily on the draw--who wins the draw. Of course should the offensive team get possession, puck back to the point for example, then the rule comes into play, more so if they score. On the flipside, if the centreman defending his net wins the draw, then there's a strong possibility the puck goes down the ice.

Line Combinations Count

I've used this site to get accurate line combinations and it is absolutely great for that, but I just can't figure out exactly what the count is beside the line combination. It doesn't appear to be the number of shifts for each line together. Can someone tell me exactly what count is? Thanks.

Could you define the second column, or 'count' column with repect to the Last Game Line Combinations? Thanks,

I thought it was the # of occurances, but I was in Last Game Lines and the numbers were way too high for that. So help here would be great. Thanks,

you sure you weren't seeing a game in progress? The quick reports aren't created until after all the games are over. The line combo tool shows you during games.

The Leafs

I don't think Grabovski is worth much, unless you're in a league with a ton of teams, and a lot of players on each team. Even in a keeper league it's hard to justify making a move for him at this point. Take preseason stats with a grain of salt for sure. You're better off looking for value elsewhere. Antropov is decent on the leafs and you mentioned Kaberle, Toskala has value too. Kubina, although hilariously overpaid, if he's on the PP all year, is of some value as well.
--Team Rosters--

I thought I'd start a thread where people could post their rosters as a means of sparking discussion, critisms, complements, etc. So, without further ado,

I'm in a Head to Head Keeper Hybrid League (The Keeper Cup), with 14 teams:

-Each team can designate up to 6 players as keepers for the next year
-Each team can designate 2 players for their farm team, these players don't contribute towards the roster, do not take up a roster spot and must have played in the league less 4 years (there'

This is by far the most helpful fantasy site that I have had the pleasure of using. Great job. Can't wait to see what new tools you will have for us to use in the future. My first real visit here and I feel i've already learned a bunch about my players and future players i'd like to add to my rosters. Thanks for taking the time to create a site that is useful not just a quick stop and then pass by.
